Ball grinder

1: Measure the end face length of the ball, select a suitable grinding disc and install it on the spindle of the grinding head;

2: Measure the length between the two center holes of the sphere;

3: Retract the tailstock center to a position where the distance between the two centers is more than 30mm longer than the length of the ball center hole (the position of the three position switch for this operation needs to be in manual state). This method corresponds to 3mk7690, 3mk76120 and above models; 3mk7620 and 3mk7650 models need to loosen the M12 mm nut under the tailstock top (one at the front and one at the rear) to push the tailstock part forward and backward;

4: Inject grease into the center hole of the ball;

5: Use the lifting equipment to move the sphere between the two centers, and insert one end of the head frame into the center hole;

6: Move the tailstock center to another center hole and jack it in, then turn the three position switch to (automatic), and check whether the pressure of the hydraulic station is normal (the front end of the motor of the hydraulic station is equipped with a pressure regulating device, which can adjust the pressure according to the actual use)

7: After the sphere is installed, the lifting equipment can be loosened slowly;

8: Install a dial indicator on the outer circle of the grinding disc, with the tip of the dial in the center of the ball, turn the grinding disc left and right, press the (POS position) button, press the (F1) hand wheel button, the left axis of the hand wheel is adjusted to (z), and the right button is adjusted to (X10). Rotate the hand wheel to move the z-axis workbench so that the center of the ball and the center of the spindle coincide within 0.02 mm;

9: Connect the headstock driving device to the sphere, and press the (headstock inching) button to try to rotate the sphere;

10: Select the sand strip according to the ball material and install it on the grinding plate;
